The Clark - Berkshires Transportation Form

This is without a doubt, one of the easiest cultural arts experiences you will ever get for free for your school. The Clark is located in the Berkshires near the New York Border. This museum is centrally located for all of New England and New York.
Our district, located in Camden NY, went on a Saturday. We were awarded a thousand dollars for bus transportation. You can use the funds for a luxury coach, which is what we did. The Clark also allows you to visit other local attractions within the Berkshires. We went to the Williamstown College Museum and Mass MoCa.
Also, the Clark will provide you with a docent, who travels with your group throughout the museum.

Here is the form and website for general information.

Teaching Tolerance Grants

Teaching Tolerance magazines and programs can be found in classrooms all across the United States. The Southern Law Poverty Center has promoted tolerance in many meaningful settings. To help promote tolerance, they have a simple one page grant that teachers can utilize in their classroom. You can request up to 2500 hundred dollars and hear within a few weeks whether you will get the grant. One tip for anyone writing the grant is to follow their directions completely. Many grants are tossed away all too often because people refuse to follow directions.

Good Luck

School Based Health Centers

Students who come to school with health issues often have difficulties in school. For this reason, School Based Health Clinics provide relief for students who need assistance with dental care, primary physician services, and mental health. It is simple to apply for a school based health clinic in the state of New York. The state department of health has many coalitions working together to advance clinics throughout the state. Upstate cities From Buffalo to Albany have school based health clinics. If you need information for the clinic, call an upstate city school district for information regarding how to reach a health center.
